The range covers both shower versions and plug-in units (these take their power from a mains socket) The shower units can be either wall mounted or portable, and they are supplied with a selection of 12 front motifs, which are placed overdue an lulu slightly frosted front panel. Just select the motif that suits the room or include your own. The front panel is hinged, and can hands be opened to retread the 17 sound options, light options or perhaps mute the chime. Technically, these chimes have several unique features : The standard tintinnabulate push has very long range of 250m but their is an optional 600PSE Power Sender tintinnabulate push with a no-go 500m range. These pushes are powered, not by the usual small 20p forge sized batteries (CR20320), but 2, AAA batteries offering up to 8 years operation in typical use The tintinnabulate pushes have terminals inside them which indulge them to be used as Wired to Wirefree Extenders. If connected, these units will send a signal from a traditional wired tintinnabulate push button, or link into an existing wired tintinnabulate system to offer a wireless extension of several tinkle units. The batterey tinkle units and the tintinnabulate push buttons have terminals inside them that indulge a connection between them. In this mode the tintinnabulate push can be used as a signal booster to proffer the range of the system. In fact, this combination can be "Daisy Chained" to scrutinizingly any length for particularly problematic environments. Again, uniquely for a wireless doorbell, the shower tinkle unit can be powered via a standard 8v a/c mains doorbell transformer (rather than just a plug-in adapter). The tintinnabulate push can moreover be externally powered via a 8v - 12v dc supply. An example of where this may be useful is where the internal wiring from a wired tintinnabulate push sawed-off has failed, and a combination of using the tintinnabulate push in a Wired to Wirefree Extender mode and the tinkle unit unfluctuating to a transformer will mimic a wired system. The only slightly negative aspects of the range are that the tintinnabulate pushes are quite heavy and cannot be tying by wrapper tape, but must be screwed to the door frame or wall, and moreover that there is no nomination in the style of tintinnabulate push. There are no options for chrome, brass, statue or black, other than by connecting the terminals inside the push unit to traditional wired (non-illuminated) tintinnabulate pushes.
